I’m so thankful I made the decision to try Inline Barre. It has literally changed my life. When I think about all the differences between these photos, I’m amazed. I’ve lost 30 lbs so far but I’ve gained so much more:
* Strength I never knew I could have.
* Endurance.
* Definition I’ve never seen in all my years in this earth.
* Agility.
* Confidence.
* Flexibility.
* An outlet that truly de-stresses me.
I’ve never been able to find a gym or a regimen that works and that I enjoy. I can’t be trusted with at-home workouts. I’ll just stop and watch when it gets hard. I needed a sense of community to motivate me. I always grew bored with classes at other gyms. You can’t get bored at Inline because every class is completely different. These classes challenge me in a way that other gyms haven’t. The instructors know their stuff and are so supportive and motivating. When the before pictures were taken, I was broken. I looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize the person I saw, and I cried every time I saw my reflection. Every. Time. I felt sluggish and tired. I had stopped taking care of myself and it caught up with me. All of that has changed. I haven’t met all my goals yet; I’m still a work in progress. But I owe all my progress to Inline, and I’m sure as hell not stopping now.
I’ve been involved with Inline Barre approaching two years. I joined at the suggestion of a friend after finding myself in a funk after unsuccessfully trying to lose the baby weight after my daughter was born. I took one class and was hooked. I’m not particularly athletic and certainly not fitness savvy, though I’ve tried the gym memberships and at home workouts dozens of times. None of those gave me that “I can do this, and succeed” feeling I got from my experience at Inline. And you know what? I could do it and I have succeeded! Thanks in large part to the dedicated staff and fellow barre babes who make coming to classes feel less like work and more like fun. The wonderful camaraderie and support across the board is something you won’t find anywhere else.
Don’t get me wrong, the work outs are not easy but with modifications provided and a wide array of different class types, there is something for every skill level and the design is geared for consistent improvement. I started in a place of low self confidence and doubt and have progressively smashed fitness goals under the care of Inline Barre I never thought I would. I even was able to work out through my second pregnancy without issue. My experience at Inline Barre has been nothing short of amazing and I’m so grateful to have found such an amazing place to grow in strength and ability!
